Events & volunteering

We believe that community involvement is essential in empowering people to care for their local landscape, wildlife and habitats.

Volunteer days

Fancy getting your hands dirty…and feeling good in the process?

Our volunteer days are a great way to learn more about what we’re doing on the cluster and meet like-minded folk from across the region.

Days run from 10am-2pm ish. We provide hot drinks; any specialist equipment you might need; and home-baked cake to reward your day’s hard work.

Please email heggs.castle.cluster@gmail.com to join our volunteer mailing list, and/or subscribe to our blog for details of upcoming volunteer days, events and workshops.

We hope to see you over the coming months!

Visiting groups

We are also happy to organise corporate volunteer days and/or facilitate guided walks for visiting groups with specialist interests. Please get in touch to find out more.
